Project Engineer | Wind, Solar & Battery Storage | Amsterdam (Hybrid)

Are you an experienced renewable energy construction professional looking to play a key role in delivering utility-scale projects across Europe?

Our client is a globally established renewable energy developer, investor and operator with a portfolio exceeding 5GW of wind and solar assets worldwide. Backed by a major international industrial group, they have built and operate over 1GW of renewable energy projects across Europe and continue to expand their presence in the wind, solar PV and energy storage sectors.

As their European portfolio grows, they are seeking a Project Engineer to support the successful delivery of large-scale renewable energy projects.

The Role:

You will take ownership of the technical and construction-related aspects of utility-scale renewable energy projects across Europe. You will work closely with development, engineering, legal, financial and external construction partners to ensure projects are delivered safely on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the design, engineering and construction of renewable energy projects across Europe
• Oversee project execution, schedules, budgets and risk mitigation
• Coordinate with EPC contractors, consultants and project stakeholders
• Monitor compliance with project specifications and construction contracts
• Support contract execution, procurement and commissioning activities
• Collaborate with development and engineering teams throughout the project lifecycle

Essential Requirements:

• Hands-on experience in the construction of wind farms (this is a must-have)
• 5+ years' experience within wind energy construction, renewable energy infrastructure or a related industry (must-have)
• Wind turbine installation experience, with a strong understanding of on-site construction and commissioning activities (must-have)
• Ideally additional exposure to Solar PV and/or Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) projects
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Renewable Energy or a relevant technical discipline
• Strong project management, stakeholder management and risk mitigation skills

• Salary indication: up to €80K gross per year (depending on relevant working experience/knowledge)
