For our client, a reputable design & engineering company of mobile offshore units and equipment, we are looking for a TEAM LEAD E&I to reinforce the team.

In this pivotal role, you'll be entrusted with the supervision, development, and support of a dedicated team.

In this role, you will also support the department manager in developing the department, contribute to strategic planning, and help improve procedures, function descriptions, and future developments.

Tasks & Responsibilities:

  • Execute department strategy within the team according to the annual department plan.
  • Contribute to the department strategy, objectives, and prioritization.
  • Continuously contribute to the development of the department to increase productivity and employee engagement.
  • Supervise assigned team within the assigned discipline(s).
  • Responsible for continuous development & coaching of assigned staff (4 persons).
  • Maintain a resource allocation planning of your team for optimal manning of workload.
  • Ensure acceptable and healthy workloads are maintained.
  • Manage and decide on performance and provide input for renumeration increases.
  • Manage holidays, sickness registration, of team members.
  • Consciously create a workplace culture that is consistent with the overall organization's mission, vision, and values.
  • Actively network with stakeholders within the Company.

Requirements:

  • A bachelor's degree from a technical education related to E&I or equivalent level
  • Experience within Electronics including concept and basic engineering in switchboards and drive systems (Essential)
  • Strong proven leadership experience (Essential)
  • Full professional proficiency of the English language.
  • Proactive, analytical, and positive attitude, as well as outstanding collaboration skills.
  • Knowledge of the products delivered by the Company.
  • Good knowledge of the Dutch language (Desirable)
